Papain is a healthy, safe and efficient mixed bio-enzyme preparation extracted from the latex of unripe papaya fruits and refined by biotechnology. It contains papain, chymosin, papain peptidase, etc., and its main ingredient is papain.
How It Works:
The main component of papain is a thiol-containing peptide chain endopeptide protease, whose active center is a thiol group (-SH). It mainly catalyzes the hydrolysis of proteins and hydrolyzes them into small molecule peptides or amino acids that are easily absorbed.
Key Features:
- Temperature Range: Suitable Temperature Range: 40℃-55℃, Effective Temperature Range: 10℃-60℃.
- PH Range: Suitable PH Range: 6.0-8.0, Effective PH Range: 5.0-11.0.
Application Instructions:
Papain can be used in the baking and meat processing industries. The general recommended dosage is 0.01-0.5 kg of enzyme preparation per ton of raw materials. However, due to differences in application areas and raw material composition and process parameters in each factory, the addition method and dosage of this product should be determined through experiments.
Safety Information:
As enzymes are protein-based substances, they may cause allergic reactions if inhaled by sensitive individuals. Prolonged exposure may irritate the skin, eyes, and mucous membranes. It is recommended to wear protective masks when handling the product. In case of contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with water. After opening, reseal the bag or container tightly to prevent the deactivation of active enzyme components.
